Hyggelig is a Danish term that’s hard to explain but has to do with being cozy with family and friends, usually while enjoying food together. Smushies are small versions of the open-faced Danish sandwiches known as smørrebrød that are familiar and dear to all Danes. What we’d like to do here is to share our project stories, some recipes, and general thoughts. We’d love your feedback. We’ll post pictures. One thing you’ll notice right away is the eye appeal of these gorgeous little sandwiches.
